We will be Running the Dirt Attack series in 2020 and we will have 5 rounds (4 off 1 day events and 1 off 2 day event based on the National series format ) the Dates are as follows

May 3rd Round 1

June 7th Round 2

June 20/21 Round 3 (2 dayer)

August 2nd Round 4

September 6th Round 5

Booking in is now open

The race fee will
be £12  for one day  up to 10 pm on Friday prior to the event and
after that it will increase to £15 per day for  booking in on the day.

The race fee for
the 2-day event will be £25.00 up to 10 pm on Friday prior to the event and
after that it will increase to £30 for  booking in on the day.

The series will be
run over 5 weekends with each being 1 round of the championship, there will be
one 2- day event – June 20th/21st

From the 5 rounds
50 % (3) plus 1 scores  will count towards the championship.

Car classes are as
follows:

1/8 Nitro Buggy,
1/8th Nitro Truggy,1/8th E Buggy and 1/8th E Truggy

Entrants will be
awarded points for the class they enter (Nitro Buggy/Nitro Truggy/E Buggy or E
Truggy).

Top 3 cars from
each final will bump up.

Race format Each
Day:

  • Qualifying format is RBR (your best 2 rounds will determine
    your qualifying position)
  • 4 rounds of 5-minute qualifiers
  • A Final 25 minutes
  • All other nitro finals 20 Minutes
  • Electric finals 15 minutes across the board
  • 2-day meeting will be based on the National series format i.e.
  • Saturday  1 round of practice and
    5 rounds of qualifying – 5 Mins each 
  • Sunday    1 round of qualifying and
    finals in the Xmas tree style each of 20 mins duration and the A main of 25 mins.
  • Format will be followed to the best of our ability dependent on weather
    conditions or reasons beyond our control.

Drivers points are
as follows:

  • TQ in each class = 1 bonus point.
  • 1st in each class = 100 points, 2nd 99, 3rd 98 and so on.
  • From the 5 rounds 50 % (3) plus 1 scores  will count towards the
    championship.
  • A driver must complete at least 1 lap in their final in order to score
    championship points.

Booking In and cancellations:

Booking in will
take place at www.eastshrewsburybrc.com.  Booking in opens at 6pm for each round on the
Monday after the previous event and so on. Booking in will close on the Friday
prior to the event at 10.00 pm.

Each day will have
a maximum of 90 entries

Trophies :

End of Series
trophies will be provided for the top 3 overall.

trophies are dependent on racers completing the required 50 % (3) plus 1  round.
