With the bad weather for last sundays club race series which was cancelled we have decided to rerun it this weekend Sunday 5th August there are no nationals or regionals on see you can get the chance of running on dirt before the next round of the national series at Pembrey the following weekend so get booked in for a great day of racing
Booking in is open for Round 2 of the club series on Sunday 29th July ,Time to get some practice in on the dirt ready for the next 2 rounds of Nitro x cross at the end of August
It’s back!!….one of (if not, THE!!) best weekend of the year – Weston Park Air Show.
We’re going to keep to the same format as previous years, day 1 practice and qualifying and day two qualifying and finals but this time with the added bonus of it being run as Not the Neo. Nothing will change with the race format, we’ll just have some very shiny and new trophies to give out 🙂
Entry for the weekend is £25 (which obviously includes free entry into the show) and camping is £10 per night which is charged by the Weston Park Model Air Show event committee. Tickets can be purchased in a number of ways, these are as follows:
- From Pembrey NitroXcross
- From Bryn and/or Cate at club nights at the track on the run up to the event
- Via the online entry form and PayPal using the Gift option and sent to firstname.lastname@example.org (an additional £1.20 to be added for the cost of postage if required) If you do need the ticket/s sending out, please use the notes section to add your delivery address of where you would like them sent to.

Entries are now open for the Easter event “Not the Neo” at our Hadnall dirt track . To book in go to http://www.eastshrewsburybrc.com/?page_id=37 the entry fee is £25 per class and prepayable by paypal.
All entries will remain provisional until the entry fee is paid, the paypal address for payment is firstname.lastname@example.org and should be paid with “friends and family” please add full name of driver on the paypal payment . The maximum entry is 90 cars with classes for 1/8th nitro buggies ,1/8th electric buggies,1/8th nitro truggies and 1/8th electric truggies classes maybe amalgamated if insufficient entries for a class .
We are holding an Open Day to promote our club and to provide information on the sport of radio controlled buggy racing at Hadnall Village Hall from 2 p.m.- 5 p.m. on Sunday 28th January 2018
We will have a display of cars available to look at and even try out and club members will be on hand to inform you of dates of events and to discuss our hopes and plans for 2018.
The Annual General Meeting of the Club will take place on Sunday 28th January 2018 at Hadnall Village Hall from 12 noon – 2 p.m.
All Officer positions of the club are up for renewal, Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Web Site Manager.
If you are a club member and would like to nominate someone for these roles, or fancy taking one on yourself please email me at email@example.com to put forward your nomination. You can also email me with any proposals you would like to put forward at the AGM. Please let me have nominations or proposals by no later than Monday 22nd January 2018.
The Club values your opinions and suggestions, so please come along and support us. All are welcome to attend, but remember you have to be a club member to be able to vote.
